![]() This provided a great boost to his career, which allowed the new musician to establish contact with other artists in training, such as Gonzalo Curiel and Agustín Lara, who later would excel in the field of acting, and, above all, of music. The group had a good acceptance and therefore they were hired by radio stations. With the formation of a small group, he managed, in 1928, a presentation at the Palma de Tampico Theater, Tamaulipas. Returning to his homeland, an orphan at an early age, he faced routine needs as a librarian, peddler and bullfighter until he decided to dedicate himself entirely to musical activity. Moved to Spain, at the request of his mother, and being very young, he studied composition, harmony, arrangements and musical direction. Years later this theater suffered the rigors of a devastating fire. Luis Arcaraz Chopitea, his father, owned a zarzuela company and was the owner of the Principal Theater, at that time the most requested by the public. At an early age he manifested his inclination towards music, and, already in the school period, before his classmates, he demonstrated his gifts of such vocation. ![]()
